As an Art Director within marketing and advertising all my life, I began to feel a strong need to create something tangible, something that only I could decide how to make and have complete creative control of. My journey of making jewelry all started with a bad back. I suffered with back pain for many years and found myself in bed more than I would like. You know the saying "Every misfortune is a blessing in disguise"? Well not every misfortune... but in my situation, this eventually came true. Since I am not one to waste time, I used the recovery down time to construct jewelry while recovering from a spinal fusion during long hours in bed. Many years passed by, and I would sell my jewelry when the opportunity arose or fell in my lap, such as at benefits, craft sales or a local boutique while living in Boston. But I was just letting what happened happen. I finally decided that I wanted to focus on my jewelry creation to push it to the next level, but first, I had to conquer my procrastination, limiting beliefs and fear. Out of this PIXZE JEWELRY was born. The journey continues with a road ahead, but I have finally jumped in to begin making it happen!
